loon lake - take two

Well, school started today, but since I'm still behind on my summer photos, you'll have to wait for more current ones! These photos capture some of the company we had at the cabin - a lot of pictures I know ... but I thought most of them were worth sharing!

My house and yard have been neglected for almost 2 months and I don't know where to start! I was looking forward to school starting today so I would be stuck at home to face my chores. However, I didn't get too much accomplished today - maybe because I was up all night labeling school supplies! Tomorrow we are off to Rhett's music lesson and then Vermilion to donate blood, so that takes care of another day! Seems like a long way to go to donate blood, but I promised myself I'd give back 14 units and the blood donor clinic only comes this way once a year! So, off I go - hopefully every 3 months!

loon lake - take one

We've spent a little time at loon lake this month! We have had a bit of company too, so it has been lots of fun, even though the weather hasn't always cooperated. We are enjoying the new sea-doo!! Grady and Rhett could live on it I think, because they never want to get off! One night we had an amazing fireworks show, compliments of Auntie Marilyn and Grandma. The kids thought that was the best night EVER! It was definitely the loudest!

belated reunion pics

For some reason I downloaded these photos from the camera later than the previous reunion ones. Don't want to forget about our ONTARIO relatives! The kids have been singing "Ontario, ain't no place you'd rather be" ever since the reunion. Then in the next breath they are singing "the west is best"! Would seem a bit confusing, we do love the eastern and western cousins equally!

woods reunion 2010

If you haven't already tired of looking at reunion photos from Angela's blog or on Michelle's facebook album ... here are a few more! It was a great reunion from start to finish, in my opinion. I've looked at the photos and watched the videos a few times since, with lots of good laughs! The kids should have the talent show songs and the Herbert and Fried Ham acts memorized soon! I am wondering if mom and dad ... and their house have recovered. I hope it isn't another 6 years until the next reunion. P.S. my camera was just out of the box ... so some of my pictures are not the best as I was hitting the wrong button half the time ... shutting the camera off instead of taking a picture! Then I would miss the moment! Would be great if someone would set up a group site so we could share the best shots with everyone.
