When ever I think of weddings I remember my Grandpa O's joke ... "happily ever after one another" and it makes me smile (because it reminds me of my grandpa ... not my own marriage)! Ha!!

This wedding was picture perfect - the setting, the flowers, the colors and of course the wedding party!

Samara's hair took an hour to do but she was thrilled for the next 2 days to have curly hair

For those who may be waiting to see a few pictures .... here is a good start. 
Of course our almost first family trip ever started off with a headache of flight delays, rental van delays and freeway standstills. Once we got over those hurdles things mostly improved!  Key word: mostly.

One of the best parts of the trip was spending time with Dave and Melissa and their boys. It was relaxing, fun and very kid friendly ... and the apricots were delicious! Big thanks going out to you Melissa (and family)!!!

p.s. at one point we looked over and saw Keithan had put the smaller stuffed animals (from the nearby baskets) into the mouths of the large stuffed animals. Just a little embarrassing for this mom.

We made it ... and first up ... new shoes!

Grady informed people tonight after the study that we now have 2 vans. The silver one we rented and the white one we still have because we sold the blue one to someone that works at A&W.  He will supply you with an abundance of information ... good and bad!
