This is our first bed and breakfast spot. It was tricky to find in the dark. The road dropped off the edge of the highway and then continued to drop down the mountain! Don't think I could live in this area .. however it is a desired spot location wise in Kona. It is a good elevation (900 feet about sea level) for growing coffee and macadamia nuts and fruit. The 5 acre lot for sale along the road to our bed and breakfast was listed for 400,000 and it was STEEP! We were two nights here. We were supposed to be 3 nights here but thanks (unpaid thanks) to United Airlines we had an unplanned night in San Fransisco.
