New Zealand visitors

Many many years ago when I first moved to this lovely place, I lived with Helena's family for a month until I could get my own apartment. Now here she is with her own family ... and a lovely one at that. Baby number two is expected around Grady's first birthday, so we'll be waiting anxiously for that news.

some freedom for Grady

The old retro walker made it out of the closet again! He of course likes to make his way to the cookbook cupboard and the plants!

kittens

The kids had fun with the new kittens ... who didn't have such fun with them!

harvest 2008

The kids enjoyed their one weekend of harvest. They had a ride on the combine, in the truck and had supper in the field ... thankfully no one lost an eye falling in the stubble!

keithan's music

Keithan is very enthused about his music class. He is excited to play his dinosaur song for everyone ... and show them what he's been learning in class. The only thing is ... the dinosaur song is one note .. D .. and is rather ... well, boring! Now he knows 3 notes, so maybe they soon be learning "songs"! I do hope he's this excited about music for another 10 years!

We enjoyed a visit from Odessa and her two kidlets ... Micah and Judah. As per usual I didn't take enough photos. I don't have one photo of Micah! Judah and Grady were so cute playing together ... even though one is mobile and one is not!

Happy Birthday Leeann

Leeann was "home" for her birthday (close enough anyway). We enjoyed ice-cream cake and lots of fun and games! We played Apples to Apples for the first time .... which is absolutely hilarious.
